Every juggler has their own unique story, style and specialty. I describe myself as a one-of-a-kind, multi-talented international juggler and variety-theater artist. This year I’m celebrating 50 years of juggling!
I’m an act who can do a completely visual version of his material for international guests or a version which has English humor segues from scene to scene. My show is a combination of visual comedy acts, energetic and challenging choreographed juggling numbers, and original novelty vignettes that incorporate gesture, character, and/or pantomime. I’m currently traveling with a full 45 to 50 minute show and enough additional material for a 15 minute spot if needed, not including an inspirational sea day matinee. My show is appreciated by guests who have a limited understanding of English. I also offer juggling workshops and soon I will be doing a fun and informative sea day matinee power-point program that runs off my laptop.
Essential info to help facilitate my shows at sea.
Boston (BOS). I park my vehicle at the Logan Express Lot in Danvers and bus back and forth to the terminals on the Logan Express Bus. Boston has more direct flights at lower cost than Portland, Maine. In a clinch or as a second option, I can fly out of Portland (PWM). Parking is more expensive and they have fewer direct flights.
I travel with 2 checked bags. One bag is 50 pounds. The second bag is 70 pounds. I also have 2 carry-ons. Transfers by small van preferred to a taxi. Please note that my equipment needs to arrive in order to do the shows! Whenever possible, please take care in booking the travel with enough time between flights for the baggage to make the connections. Flying in the day before and overnighting whenever possible is highly recommended.
I currently prefer Delta Airlines as I have Silver Medallion Status. This means BOTH my bags can be checked FREE. I'm also eligible for nice seat upgrades when available. If not Delta, whichever airline offers the most direct flight is appreciated.
Covid Boosters (2024). Yellow Fever (2009).
I carry professional liability and equipment insurance through Specialty Insurance Agency.

I use a laptop for audio and projection cues that is programmed using QLab. A sound or backstage technician only needs to press the space bar to initiate each cue. I need an HDMI input and a male 1/8" stereo audio connection. I bring with me a Holland Mars 4k HDMI Transmitter & Receiver System so that the laptop can be positioned as needed either in the booth or backstage. This is a rock solid device for transmitting HDMI! I avoid using wifi networks as they can be problematic on many ships due to so many frequencies in the theater. I need two microphone stands. A stage hand to hand props to during the show. A deep blue UV wash. On ships that have a show band, no rehearsal is required. All my material is performed to audio tracks.
I arrive about 45 minutes before tech rehearsal to unpack and setup my props and equipment. Technical rehearsal for my main show needs about 90 minutes for lights and sound. There are 7 or 8 lighting looks with transitions that need programming. If desired, I have a video file that instructs the lighting designer how to set each look. Whenever possible, I like the technical rehearsal early in the day rather than later in the afternoon before the shows. It really helps give me time to rest up, prep and have something to eat before the shows.
US Passport. Seaman's Book (Bahamas Registry).
Please note that my equipment needs to arrive in order to do the shows! Whenever possible, please take care in booking the travel with enough time between flights for the baggage to make the connections. Flying in the day before and overnighting whenever possible is highly recommended. Note that five ports in New England and Canada are within driving distance of my home base.
I have lots of photos to select from for using on the ship’s app or on the showroom marquee. Pick one that fits he style, resolution and aspect ratio you’re looking for.
Available in a variety of aspect ratios and styles.
For sea days, long crossings, or cancelled ports-of-call, please do not hesitate to reach out and schedule one of my entertaining enrichment programs.
I teach the basics of juggling the easy way. Sixteen sets of juggling scarves are provided. Guests are encouraged to bring three socks that are rolled up to use as juggling balls.
